We build districts of tomorrow for cities on the rise.
As a sports and entertainment ecosystem company, we partner with communities to envision, develop, operate, and strengthen destination districts that drive economic growth and lasting local value.
Shield Water Ventures is a Canadian development and advisory company with a singular ambition: to set the national standard for entertainment districts in secondary markets.
Our work is at the intersection of sports, entertainment, place-making, and tourism — integrating the disciplines to create vibrant destinations that drive investment, strengthen communities, and create lasting value.

The next generation of great sports and entertainment districts will be built in secondary markets that choose to rise.
Too often, the biggest ideas, investments, and design experiences are reserved for major markets. We believe that can change. We're building SWV to help secondary markets think bigger — creating sports, entertainment, and mixed-use districts that strengthen communities, attract investment, and create value that lasts for generations.
